Building Rules
1 - Building Limits
Each clan may only maintain one permanent base, with the exception of temporary camps.
Building beyond the map boundaries or beneath the terrain is prohibited.
The main entrance to every base must be accessible without requiring players to climb. Elevator Access is acceptable.
Builds must be placed at least:
50 foundations from another clan's base.
100 foundations from any main hub.
50 foundations from any public portal.
Your land claim must remain proportional to your clan's size. Claiming excessive areas with sparsely placed building pieces is not permitted.
All builds should reasonably fit the server's setting and may not be immersion-breaking. (No square boxes)
If you are the final or only remaining member of your clan, you are responsible for removing your build before rerolling.
Players | Building Pieces | Decorations | Thralls |
1 | 400 | 150 | 3 |
2-3 | 700 | 300 | 5 |
4-5 | 1,000 | 450 | 7 |
6-9 | 1,600 | 800 | 11 |
10-14 | 2,300 | 1,000 | 15 |
15-20 | 3,000 | 1,300 | 20 |
Clan Maximum: Regardless of clan size or Patreon benefits, no clan may exceed 3,500 building pieces, 1,500 decorative placeables, or 20 thralls without explicit administrative approval for a server event or special project.
2 - Performance Considerations
While it is impossible to account for every situation, players are expected to build with server performance in mind.
Avoid excessive numbers of placeables, decorative clutter, torches, or other light sources that may negatively impact server or client performance.
Please also use Tot! Custom mannequins and their accessories responsibly. Because these load client-side, excessive use can cause rooms to appear empty or items to disappear for players with lower-end hardware.
If staff determine that a build is creating unnecessary performance issues due to excessive placeables or mannequin usage, you may be asked to reduce or reorganize your build.
If you are ever unsure whether something is excessive or would like advice on improving performance, feel free to open a help ticket.
3 - Inactivity
Players who have been inactive for more than 20 days may automatically be removed from their clan.
If the inactive player is the clan owner, ownership of the build may be transferred to active members. If no active members remain, the build may be removed.
Builds that violate other server rules, such as building limits, while belonging to an inactive clan may be removed sooner. In these cases, staff may remove the build after 10 days of total clan inactivity or 7 days after a build audit ticket has been opened.
Exceptions may be made for players who have notified staff of an extended absence by posting in the Discord Absence forum. These exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Approval and the duration of any exception are entirely at staff discretion.
4 - Temporary Builds
Building pieces and placeables may not be placed outside of your clan's main base area.
Exceptions are made for:
Temporary camps.
Infiltrator notes.
Standard notes.
Points of interest (POIs).
Temporary camps may not remain in the world for longer than 24 hours.
