Work in Progress: The profession system is still in active development. The information below is intended to provide an overview of the current design direction and is subject to change as development continues. Professions, mechanics, progression, and available recipes may be be added, removed, or adjusted before launch.

Progression

The current design revolves around a point-based progression system, allowing players to specialize in gathering, crafting, or unique professions.

Current Concept

  • 100 total points to allocate.

  • Gathering specializations: up to 25 points.

  • Crafting specializations: up to 50 points.

  • Specialty professions: up to 100 points.

As players invest more points into a profession, they unlock additional recipes, abilities, and progression opportunities. Players are encouraged to specialize, making cooperation and trade between professions an important part of Idria's economy.
